The Beauty Therapy Room is proud to announce to ALL our Clients, Friends and Colleagues the reopening of our Holistic Department.
In The Holistic Department you will find:
- Mr. Valerijs Petrovs who will be with us every Tuesday from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm and Valerijs Petrovs will offer Reflexology, Holistic & Deep Tissue Massage Treatments to our clients.
- Miss Catherine Wharfe who will be with us every Thursday from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm and Catherine Wharfe will offer Holistic & Deep Tissue Massage to our clients.
Valerijs Petrovs was born in the town of Livani, in Latvia. Valerijs did his secondary education in Livani.
In 2000 he studied at the Baltic University of Latvia for Public Relations Faculties.
In the summer 2002, Valerijs went to the USA for Work and Travel Programme, where he worked for AOE (American Orient Express) Train Company.
In 2004 Valerijs returned to Latvia and he completed his course in Public Relations and qualified in 2006.
Soon after his qualification, Valerijs moved to London where he worked various jobs until he decided to be a Massage Therapist. Valerijs had always wanted to learn about holistic massage and to practice the therapy.
So it was only in London that he found the right school – The London School of Beauty and Make Up, where he undertook The Body Therapy & Reflexology Course from May 2008 until December 2008.
Valerijs Petrovs practice at several gym establishments in Central London and he joined us once again at The Beauty Therapy Room.
Starting from 1st November 2011, Valerijs will be looking after our clients every Tuesday from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm offering Holistic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage & Reflexology.

Catherine Wharfe is a practicing massage therapist, having received a distinction for a diploma in Holistic Massage and Anatomy and Physiology from the School of Natural Therapies in London.
Drawing on a meditation practice of more than ten years, Catherine aspires to bring profound awareness and clarity to her treatments. Using a combination of massage, breathing techniques and mindfulness, Catherine aims to help clients fully relax and gain a deeper connection to, and greater acceptance within, their own bodies.
Catherine is dedicated to furthering her knowledge of the body’s own innate wisdom and healing abilities, she is currently studying Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and is due to qualify in November 2012.
Catherine is a registered member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
